Brighton FM26 Club Overview

Welcome to the Brighton FM26 team guide. This is one that I have enjoyed doing as Brighton are a club that really like. Tony Bloom is a trailblazer like Benham over at Brentford and the ideas they have created have changed football.

This team guide has been put together to help you create the foundations of your Brighton journey. it’s a process where we take the board and supporters objectives, the key players and youth prospects creating a a tactic for you to use.

Firstly the board want to sign players under the age of 22 for the future and develop players using the club’s youth system. This relates to their strategy in real life by recruiting before peak with some potential realised. They then performance management strategies to develop the player.

The fans apparently do not have a view on the recruitment or how the team plays. I find this hard to believe as I know a few Brighton fans and thye definitely have views.

Key Players

So our next stop in the Brighton FM26 team guide is the key players. This is where we filter out the best players in the team over 3 stars. I then look at their best position and map out the formation they can play in.

As we can see we have a fantastic spread of positions. We have a full 4 man back line so that opens the door to lots of formations. We also have key players in the attacking midfield positions, the 4231 is really looking natural.

Best Youth Prospects

Now on to the fascinating part, the youth prospects. We all expected Brighton to have a lot of young talent and they have not disappointed. We have a whole page of youngsters with potential, it’s like a development farm.

Mapping this group out in a formation is easy, there are so many options available. The main thing is that they all sit nicely in the first team 4231 formation.

Brighton FM26 Wonderkids & Young Talents

So the next area for the Brighton FM26 team guide we look at the wonderkids at the club. This helps you keep a special focus on the players with high potential. Here is the Brighton list:

  • Jack Hinshelwood
  • Malick Yalcouye
  • Tyler Silsby
  • Tommy Watson
  • Yankuba Minteh
  • Facundo Buonanotte
  • Harry Howell
  • Evan Ferguson
  • Stefanos Tzimas
  • Babis Kostoulas

As expected Brighton has an abundance of wonderkids in their teams at various levels. Either way there is a conveyor belt of talent here for you to push through your team.

Brighton FM26 Tactics & Best Formation

Here it is the main part of the Brighton FM26 team guide the tactics. This is a cumulation of all the factors above to get to this point, it is like a puzzle. Once everything comes together it is a good feeling.

With Brighton we have a lot of options available and sometimes that causes problems. Having too many options can sometimes blind you to your key players or youth team. We went with the gegenpress, but Brighton could play play tiki taka football fairly well.

I’ve gone with another traditional transition for Brighton, the 442 into the 4231. This is a fairly fluid transition where you defend from the front, the DMs drop deep to the centre, the wingers push forward and one forward drops in between the lines.

Positions to Strengthen

There isn’t a real need or urgency to strengthen the team in the Brighton FM26 team guide. If you wanted a team to compete right now you could look for players in the DM position with a high current ability.

As it is a Gegenpress system I would look for Stamina, Acceleration, Aggression, Anticipation and Work Rate. These are great stats to find the right players.

Potential Signings

Here are some recommended DM position players to get you started:

  • Shea Charles (Southampton)
  • Yehor Yarmoliuk (Brentford)
  • Mamadou Sangare (Lens)
  • Jean-Baptiste Gorby (Braga)

I have tried to keep to the recruitment brief that Brighton follow with players 18-23 and from lesser leagues. Then of course using the attributes that I mentioned above.

Brighton FM26 Save Challenges

The main challenge that this Brighton FM26 team guide need to face is winning the Premier League. This is not an easy feat with the top teams that dominate the league, but I can see it in Brighton’s future.

The other challenge that I think Brighton would excel in is the youth challenge, and that is just because of the way that the infrastructure has been set up at the club.

Conclusion

With everything said and done our Brighton FM26 team guide gives you a good understanding of the club and where it wants to go. We want to help you get started with your club of choice and make it successful.

I gave the team guide a dry run for half a season and I while I didn’t achieve much more than what is expected you can see there is a great squad there. I think it will need some management and moving players around, but there is definite potential.
