Giving Wolves FC a real roar!
Wolves FC have been in the Premier League for a while now, after the initial surge in the league they have slowed to a halt and are stuck in the midtable madness.

Wolves FC results
In this section we speak about the results of the team so far. This data can be useful when combined with the type of team that you are beating or struggled with. It can highlight trends of opposition or even home and away fixtures.
This season has been inconsistent to say the least. Looking at the first two months, it is like win or lose each game. It’s not until the third month that we manage a draw. We went through a rough spell in October and played a batch of the big teams in the EPL, FM24 can be a bit unforgiving.
Then we hit the relegation candidates and picked up a few wins and draws, only to be confronted by some more of the top teams. Wolves FC have been a challenge so far, which I believe could be down to the team gelling and getting used to the tactic. The first 11 has remained much the same this season so there hasn’t been a mass overhaul.
We manged to slip into 10th in the league which basically means we are following the mid table trend of Wolves FC on FM24. Wolves deserve to be midtable as we have won as many as we have lost. The goal difference is good, and that is down to our goal scoring, we are scoring 2 a game on average. So far so good, we are fitting the mid table profile.
Individual Performance
In this section we discuss the individual performances of player in the team. This is a great idea if you want to go granular on a problem in your team or you are highlighting a potential problem in the team. I always work backwards from the result to get my answers.
It’s a little disappointing that we only have three players playing over a 7 average rating. I can understand it that we have played a number of bad games as well as good games, just look at the schedule. Pedro Neto is an exciting player, and I would recommend him in the EPL.
Looking deeper into the stats most of the team are beating their Xg rating, which is fantastic news. Kalajdzic is struggling to adapt it would appear, but nothing to be concerned about right now. I would say he is on my watchlist for the moment, hopefully he pulls through by the end of the season.
Looking at the passing stats there are some real problems. Pedro Neto, Hee-Chan, Sarabia, Cunha and Fabio Silva are all struggling to keep their passing completion to the standard. The problem here is that they are all attacking players, so our attacking plays must be breaking down.
Wolves FC Tactics
In this section we speak about the tactics that we are using this season. The tactic we start with will normally be the one that we created in the Day One series. This gives us a great start to building a tactic for this team.
We are using the 4231 with Wolves FC on FM24. After looking at the squad it was the formation that suited the team best. It is a very attacking formation and really good for passing which goes hand in hand. As a result most goals are scored from passing the ball through.
The main talking point in the forwards is that Kalajdzic is not reaching the required standard for Xg. This could mean that we move someone into that position instead, change the role or alternatively persevere with him to see if he improves. In other news, defensively we could be better, but I think faster defenders would achieve that.
Conclusion
Wolves FC on FM24 have been……….. Wolves FC. They are typically mid table in performance and results. I like this because it means that any changes would be noticeable, good or bad. Ideally I want to push the team forward after we restructure in January.
The strength in this team is the goal scoring ability, it is really good. There are plenty of goalscorers in this team and it is something that we do not need to focus on. The weakness of this team is the lack of pace in the backline, it’s letting us down against the big teams. They have fast forwards and play the ball along the floor, making it difficult. The other option is reducing the defensive line.
The opportunity here in the team is the younger players. Silva up front, Ait-Nouri and Traore are great prospects and have bright future. The threat here is that if we do not make a difference in the fortune of this team, we will become a permanent midtable team, and no one wants that.
