Le Havre AC objectives

The first step on our new journey is to look at the supporter and board objectives. In terms of building our strategy or culture this is where we start. The Le Havre fans are in a jubilant mood since the promotion and are now looking to build from that.

Board Objectives
Le Havre AC FM24 board objectives

The board objectives at Le Havre AC are minimal, but this is great it gives us the freedom to do whatever we want in terms of tactics. A finer point to note here is that the club are saying avoid as opposed to attempt to avoid relegation. This means you have no choice, but to avoid relegation. We never focus on relegation as we want something to work towards.

As noted in the 5 year plan the club is looking to becoming self sustainable. This means that we need to watch our wages and transfers, that we are not over spending. We need to create a revenue stream from unwanted players, mainly youngsters to help set the club up. Obviously things like winning leagues and cups will help as it brings it’s own financial rewards.

supporter objectives

The supporter objectives are a little more direct and have a plan behind them. They want to remain in Ligue 1, which is of no surprise. Our job revolves staying in the league, and as previously stated our ambitions are higher than that.

So one of my favourite objectives on FM24 is developing players using the club’s youth academy. There is a a lot involved here and also we can push it even further.

The first thing is to build the youth academy facilities up. The next thing is to strip the youth teams of under performing players. So then we need to get scouts that are great at spotting potential, so we can recruit them to our youth teams. The coaches need to be overhauled, we need coaches that have high motivation and working with youngsters.

The next step is to look at the Le Havre squad on FM24. The way that we do this is by using the assistant reports to grade players in the squad. What we do is sort the squad by current ability, we sort by under 3 stars, 3 stars and over 3 stars. Under 3 stars have a limited future, over 3 stars are key players and the 3 star are the squad players.

We have an abundance of great players according to the assistant manager. We have a good range of players, which play in a variety of positions, but it is leaning towards 5 at the back. An area for concern is that we have a number of players that are 30 or over, this means that we need to replace them.

Le Havre AC FM24 squad players

Our squad players are list is a bit smaller to my key players list, which surprised me. The good news regarding our squad players is that they back up our assumptions regarding formation. Even though England played it, we look like we are going to be playing 523, a surprising formation to say the least.

Le Havre AC Tactics

This is where we put everything together, where our assumptions come to life. This is where we build our tactic for Le Havre AC on FM24. The above sections give us most of the information, but we will need to fill in the blanks. So where do we start?

As I have said before, I like to start from how we score goals and work backwards through the team. On that note, our goals will be mainly be scored from the inside forwards. The jury is still out whether we need a target man or a deep lying forward, but they will drop deep and let the inside forwards crash the space he leaves. This could potentially create an overload, causing chaos in the defence.

Le Havre AC FM24 Tactics

We had two options in the centre of midfield, we could put in two MCs, which would make the formation more attacking. This would mean that we would need to pull the wing backs back to play as full backs, therefore changing the formation too much. I have opted for the DMs to keep the wingbacks in provide that support to the inside forwards.

It is important to have the deep lying playmaker to link the play with the forwards. This is an interesting tactic and I am looking forward to seeing how it plans out.

Get started with Le Havre AC today

Le Havre AC are going to be a challenge I look forward to on FM24. I love a relegation candidate as they have the whole table to push on. With title challengers you can only compete for the title. It’s not going to be easy, but it could create a fantastic save game.

The strength of this team has to be the defence, they have a number of key defensive players according to the assistant report. We may have gone too far with 3 centre backs, but we can change this or it could be us playing into our strengths.

The weakness of this team is that we have a number of young players and old players. We are missing a lot of players in their peak years, this is something we can address, or we can let the older players go.

The opportunity we can see with this team is the amount of high potential players there are. I’ve never seen so many 5 star potential players in a starting team, this means that we need to develop the first team of tomorrow.

The biggest threat that this club faces is that they have to avoid relegation. If they do fall into the division below, it could really spell trouble financially for the club.
