Kayserispor objectives
The first thing we need to do to manage Kayserispor to success on FM24 is understand the culture. We do this by looking at the board and supporter objectives and developing our culture to suit. Some clubs are more rigid with their identity than others.
Looking at the board objectives we can see they are expecting a tough season, we need to avoid relegation. In terms of the other objectives with can see that the board want to grow the reputation of the club. This means that we need to do well in competitions and sign better players when the transfer ban is over.
The other objectives relate to making the club more sustainable, keeping in the wage budget and keeping older player contracts to a minimum. This is a good opportunity to focus on younger players and build for the future.
The supporters are quite surprising, they do not have many objectives at all. The main thing is to beat and potentially finish above our rivals. Again they want us to avoid relegation and start to progress the club over the next few seasons.
Kayserispor First 11
The next step is to work out who our key players are at Kayserispor on FM24. The way in which we do this is by using the star system on the assistant reports. The way we do this is to push the standard, squad players will be 3 stars and above and the key players will be 3.5 and above stars.
Taking a look at the key players we can see that we have a decent number, and most play in different positions. The good news is that a lot of our key players play in core central positions, this is something to work with. From what we can see there are a number of formations that could work here, 4231 and 433 DM namely. Let’s look at the squad players to see how they complement the structure.
As we can see there are a number of new positions played by squad players to add to our formation. There is a left back, so back four is looking possible, we just need to look for a right back. The midfield is packed with MC and DM players, I have never been a fan of overloading that area of the field. We also have the potential of two strikers.
Kayserispor Tactics
The next step is putting all the above assumptions into a tactic on FM24 for Kayserispor. This is the part I enjoy, putting it all together and seeing how it looks, theory is fine, but practical is where the results come from. Additionally we can see any contradictions or strengths forming.
The first thing I always start with is how do we score goals? I have gone with a counter attack formation for two reasons, we have fast forwards and we are going to be under attack in most games. So the basic idea is to soak up pressure and then break quickly and score. I am using wingers to drag the opponents back line and we will cross into our pressing forward.
Defensively I have looked at the key players in the team, we have a good centre back pairing which will be able to repel attacks and push the forward out wide. Our key players are wingers, so we will look to get the ball to them. We are good in the air too so we can sit back head the ball away.
Get started with Kayserispor today
Managing Kayserispor on FM24 is going to be a real challenge, they cannot buy anyone in the first window and start on minus 3 points. I really think that we have the fundamentals to start a new era here and I look forward to seeing what you can do with them.
The strength of the team I am in no doubt are the wingers. To make use of them we need them out wide and supplying the ball to the forward. The weakness in this team are the full backs, we have half decent left back but no real right back. When the ban is lifted that is first on the shopping list.
The opportunity here is that we have an older squad that will need replacing over the years, this could be part of building the team again with younger players. The threat is obvious, relegation, the pressure is on, we need to make it count this season and stay up.
