Arsenal FM26 Club Overview

This is the first stage in our Arsenal FM26 team guide, the club overview. Here we learn a lot about the club and the expectations of the board and supporters. The first thing to notice is that Arsenal’s predicted position is 3rd in the league. I personally think this is the year that they win it and win it we will.

So the looking at the expectations of the board we can see they are not going to be restrictive, but would like you to sign a couple of players under 18 for the future. This is a good objective as we can sign some wonderkids and also get home grown status. Other than that we are left to our own devices.

The supporters on the other hand have a few caveats. They want attacking and entertaining football, which is music to my ears. The attacking aspect gives me the choice between Tiki Taka and Gegenpress tactical styles. I would learn more to the Tiki Taka style when talking about entertaining football as Gegenpressing is more a defensive form first.

Arsenal FM26 Squad Guide

Key Players

So this year the guides are slightly different, for the Arsenal FM26 team guide we will look at the key players, players rated over 3 stars by the assistant report. Then we will look at the potential ratings of the squad to build out our team.

Like any world class team we have a very strong team throughout the core with Rice and Odegaard, and Saliba and Gabriel. We can’t ignore Saka who is a great player and can anywhere up the right wing, 442, 424 and 4231 are all viable.

Best Youth Prospects

Look at the long list of youth prospects in my Arsenal FM26 team guide. What a list of talent they actually have. The obvious ones are Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly, who are both exceptional talents for the future.

We are spoilt for chance when it comes to bringing talent through. The first team will be made up of players on these two lists with a preference for current ability. The others will be rotated into the team like Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly. If a player does not appear on either list they will be heading to the door.

Squad Depth by Position

My biggest complaint over the years for Arsenal was always the squad depth. It seems as though they get so really bad injuries and it weakens the squad overall which leaves them short.

The two areas that I am most concerned about is the left midfield and the strikers. While there are players in those positions, some of them do not fall into our filters.

Arsenal FM26 Wonderkids & Young Talents

So the two players to speak about in the Arsenal FM26 team guide are Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly. Both are exceptional exciting talents as I mentioned earlier, but how do we manage them?

So currently they are both 2.5 stars, which means to me that they are not quite good enough to start as first team. The reasons for that is that they are not at the level to win things right now and they have lots of development.

My recommendation for both players is to rotate them. Pay special attention to the fixture list and let them play against the weaker teams in the league. I would also look at subbing them on when winning against the bigger teams in the league and Champions league.

Do not loan them out, they are good enough to be in the squad and be playing soon.

Arsenal FM26 Tactics & Best Formation

This is where the Arsenal FM26 team guide gets creative, the overall strategy. The way this works is that we use all the information we have gained from above. The expectations from the board and supporters, the squad details regarding key and high potential players give us data. This is how we make decisions.

So we will be playing a tiki taka tactical style as it both attacking and entrertaining, which is what the fans wanted. The formation was dictated by the best positions of the highest rated players in the squad. I had a choice of a few formations, but I ended up with 442 out of possession.

Th fun really starts in the in possession formation. So as we are playing a possession style of football we have gone with the 32 defence. As we have 3 defenders it means our midfield can move into a higher position in MC. This helps with progressing the ball up the field.

Timber moves forward to create width while Saka moves inside to become a threat. Havertz then steps back to give passing options and at the back Calafiori has moved over to be part of the three man defence. Simple.

Transfer Recommendations for Arsenal in FM26

Not a lot to say here for the Arsenal FM26 team guide as the team is already a good size with plenty of depth.

The only things I would do is look into a striker that plays a lot. This is because you do not want to buy another injury prone striker.

I would also look at getting a new left winger. Martinelli is the future, but he gets injured so much it is crazy. On his day he is unplayable on FM26, but the injuries just mount up.

Arsenal FM26 Save Challenges

There is no rebuilding in this Arsenal FM26 team guide. It is a simple case of an elite club on the verge of greatness. So I would say:

• Win the Premier League in your first season.
• Go unbeaten like the Invincibles.
• Focus on youth-only policy, potentially with a national set up to help feed the England team.

Conclusion

This is one great save to get your teeth stuck into if you enjoy playing with the bigger teams. Arsenal have just come up short a few times and this year could be their year to win it! As the you can see below we got half way through the season and was top, outscoring everyone.

I would say, if you are looking for a fun save game ideas with a focus on youth players, then this could be the team for you. It is fun competing at the top level, especially with some of these players.
