The drama continues!
Here we are, GW3 tips to the ready! So this week is the start of the League cup points, so another avenue for points. This week the Telegraph Fantasy Football has been full of drama, with plenty of goals and upsets. As well as this it is the last week of the transfer window.
It’s great so far let’s hope it continues!
Welcome to the Telegraph Fantasy Football Tips for GW3! Well done so far for staying interested, I have friends which pick a team and lose interest after GW1. That’s not us though, we’ve got plenty of weeks left with the twists and turns.
So this week is another one of those interesting weeks, we have a massive game, probably a title decider and a London rivalry. This is going to get explosive, let’s get our team ready for the action.
GW2 Results
So we are two weeks in, and over 100 points so far, which is a little under our target of 62 points each week. We have also hit the top 10k which is a nice feeling to have. We did have our first scare though of the season, Cole Palmer got injured in the warm up and so we were forced to transfer him out.
I brought Semenyo in to replace him in GW2 as they had a fairly easy fixture against Wolves. It was a solid win, but I feel Bournemouth could and should of won by more. We also lost Ait-Nouri in the Spurs game, which turned out to a disater game for Man City too.

It’s a wonder how this team is doing so well when you look around at the most recent results. Gyokeres did really well against Leeds which was a massive positive. He was always going to do well against Leeds, at home, lots of shots and he thrives against the bottom half teams typically.
Plenty of change coming up this week as we look ahead to the next few fixtures. Look out for GW4!
Telegraph Fantasy Football GW3 Tips Fixtures
This week is going to be another firecracker of a weekend just before the international break! So as always the model predicts the fixtures winners and losers, and the strength of the result. It does this measuring the strengths of each team in 4 to 5 different key performance indicators.
So you want to know the results, this is where our Telegraph Fantasy Football GW3 tips come in handy. The big result of the weekend is that the Model thinks United are going to run riot at Burnley and score 3 or more goals.
The next team on the cards is Nottingham Forest. They looked good on the previous data, but now factoring in the poor form of West Ham it looks really good. The model is not keen on the forwards, but it looking good for a clean sheet and the midfield.

The Mid Card
We then have a number of mid card games in Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Man City for your Telegraph Fantasy Football teams.
Chelsea look incredible after smashing West Ham in the last game. While they lost Palmer, it was great to see how the team works without him. There are so many different ways that they can score, although set pieces played a role. Defensively this is going to be a good game for Chelsea.
Liverpool have a tough game against Arsenal. It’s going to see some goals, that’s for sure! It’s going to be close, the winner will be Liverpool with one goal, but it would not surprise that the score is 3-2. This means we need our strike force and defenders to the ready.
Tottenham look really good as much as it pains me to say. Frank has turned them into a solid attacking team while not conceding anywhere near as many as they last year. Kudus in particular looks really good and playing with a smile on his face.
Last, but not least is Man City. The model thinks that they will okay, but I must be honest I still haven’t got the confidence I had for them a couple of years ago. You could try some of the attack minded players, but at the moment it just doesn’t seem like it is clicking yet.
Telegraph Fantasy Football GW3 Tips Transfers
Transfers In
Obviously the main team we want to bring in is Man United, but please remember they are in the Manchester derby in GW4. Do not overload your Telegraph Fantasy Football teams with defenders here as the model feels the derby will be a draw. Some of the attackers maybe worthwhile like Cunha, Mbeumo or maybe Bruno.
So the next team is Forest, the model doesn’t fancy their forwards, but it does think the defenders and the midfielders. Anderson and Gibbs-White look the business in midfield, the defenders you could look at are Aina, Murillo or the defensive beast Milenkovic. Plus remember Sels is available if you are struggling for a keeper.
Chelsea have two West London derbies in a row and the model thinks they will win them both. As for GW3 tips defensively Chelsea have a lot to offer such as Sanchez, Chalobah and Cucurella. I also like Neto and Enzo in midfield as balanced options.
Spurs have a really good run of fixtures from here, home to Bournemouth and then away to West Ham and Brighton. At the moment they look good and from those fixtures the only problem the model sees in Brighton.
They have a solid team at the moment and their defence are a good option with Van der Ven and Romero, the midfield that makes Tottenham tick is Kudus, plus Richarlison is on form at the moment. You have options here.
Transfers Out
This one is easy in terms of GW3 tips, get shot of West Ham, Burnley and Wolves players. They are going to struggle this year it would appear, especially West Ham. At least get rid of any keepers or defenders so that won’t be a burden. Strand Larsen at Wolves looks okay for a cheap option up top.
With Arsenal, it depends where you land. Arsenal have a tough run coming up in Liverpool, Forest, Man City and Newcastle in the EPL. After that jam as many Arsenal players like Calafiori and Gyokeres into your Telegraph Fantasy Football teams until Christmas, but the next four fixtures look like a rough time ahead.
Conclusion
What a pleasure it has been to write to article for the Telegraph Fantasy Football GW3 tips. The season is getting me excited already with some big matches happening already. I would say keep away from Arsenal at the moment as they have a big run of good games.
Good luck again this week guys and enjoy the game!
