So you want to try the Bundesliga?
New save ideas is always good when you want to try something new, in a new league on FM24. I’ve put together 5 save games to get you started in the Bundesliga.
Recently I have had a lot of questions around FM24 save ideas. This is either because you are bored of your long term save or that you need some inspiration for your next save idea. So we need to look at a new challenge for you, let’s start with some ideas in the Bundesliga, one of my favourite leagues.
Each of the save ideas below will be for a team with a different situation, whether that be challenging for the league, battling against relegation or even a team in a financial crisis. There are some fantastic teams with a unique position when you have a look around.
What save ideas?
The save games that we have put together provide a challenge for different reasons. Some are bringing a team back from the dead, others are battling against a handicap and some are more straight forward. Either way FM24 presents it’s own challenges to any new or aspiring managers. Let’s look at the challenges.
Bayern Munich
This is an easy FM24 save idea to start with, they are a massive team with a great history of success. They are currently going through a transition and trying a new direction with the team, hence buying Harry Kane. They are seeing some older players leave and giving a chance to some younger players like Musiala.
The challenge here is to complete the transition in your likeness, and win the league. With the players you have got this should be an interesting challenge depending on which way you go with the transition. We wrote an FM24 tactics guide for Bayern Munich to help you get started.
Darmstadt
Where Bayern Munich are expected to challenge for the league, Darmstadt are predicted by the media to finish bottom in the league. This is one of the more simple FM24 save ideas, as well as being a popular one. It’s clear in it’s goal, attempt to avoid relegation with the worst team in the league.
The challenge here is to perform the impossible, to keep this team up in the Bundesliga against the odds. It’s going to be tough and we wrote an FM24 tactics guide for Darmstadt to get you started. Good luck with this one!
Heidenheim
This is one of my favourite FM24 save ideas. It is Heidenheim’s first season in the Bundesliga ever! What an achievement for the club and you are the lucky individual to write this new chapter for the club. While this is a similar challenge to the Darmstadt avoiding relegation, it’s under a different banner of creating a new history on a clean slate.
I’ve done this save idea personally and absolutely loved it. I knew hardly any of the players at the club and it was a real test, but I loved seeing the new domestic records being filled in. I have built FM24 tactics for Heidenheim previously and had some success with them.
Union Berlin
This is another of the FM24 save ideas I am keen on, while I haven’t done much with Union Berlin on FM24, I have on previous games. It is great to see them progress and to get into the Champions League, this club is on the upward trajectory.
The challenge is to do well in the league, but the main thing is to make an impression on the Champions League. This helps with a number of avenues, mainly finances and reputation to help push the club even further. Additionally we have written about FM24 tactics for Union Berlin to help you get started.
Bayer Leverkusen
Now this is one of the top FM24 save ideas, Bayer Leverkusen! So they have had one of the best seasons in their history winning the Bundesliga. They also went unbeaten in the league to win it, impressive. Xabi Alonso has put together a fantastic team, which had a fantastic run and won a great league.
The challenge here is to try and recreate the title win and unbeaten season, as easy as that. It sounds simple, but going unbeaten is an incredible feat that very few teams have actually achieved, Arsenal anyone?
