What this means to us is that we must set the club up to focus on youth players. We need coaches that work with youngsters, scouts that can see potential and a great head of youth development. It also means that we need to replace older players with younger players.
The supporters are a lot more demanding. They are telling us the style of football, which is attacking so a gegenpress or tiki taka style will be best. High reputation players may be a bit more difficult bearing in mind the budgets when compared to other teams in Europe.

The next step is to create our structure, our formation. We need to know who our key players are at Galatasaray on FM24 and plan to include them all. When looking we can see a back four starting to emerge and central midfield, it looks like a 433 DM is going to be our choice.

Now let’s put all our assumptions together in the form of our tactic for Galatasaray on FM24. I really think it becomes obvious how the team should play after looking at the components above. We are building a culture throughout this team and this is where it starts.
I always start with how we score goals and Galatasaray will be no different, especially with the attackers they have. Icardi is a rare player that plays his best football in a number of roles. As well have gone with two inside forwards we need a role that drop deep to pull defenders with him, so the inside forwards crash through the middle.
We have gone with a typical defensive line up at the back, the back four screened by an anchorman. This allows the wingbacks to push forward and take up the positions vacated by the inside forwards. With this going on with have two midfielders in roles that can move around creating passing options.

The weakness of the team is the lack of depth in defence. There is a distinct lack of wing backs in the team, which could struggle with injuries.
The opportunity here is to build a youth team that will take over from the older players and dominate the Turkish Super League over time. The threat here is the pressure to win things, this one is a steep learning curve and you are expected to hit the ground running.
